There’s a fantastic moment during Larks‘ Tongues In Aspic Pt.IV just after Fripp and Gunn’s scorching unison lines where you can momentarily hear the roar of approval from the folks in the Gothic a second before the whole band kicks back in. The track has a habit of pummelling listeners into the ground and then, with this section, whisking them aloft and throwing them sky high. The yowl of approval comes as folks tumble back toward the earth.
