To celebrate the June 26, 2007 Tractorbeam show's nomination for eMusic Download of the Year at the 2008 Jammys, we are very excited to release the August 30, 2007 Tractorbeam show, also from the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA. Since the first Tractorbeam show was received with such praise, we decided that we would release another from the vault!
Tractorbeam was conceived as a different concert experience...something more akin to a DJ club set than a traditional rock concert. As Tractorbeam, The Disco Biscuits play completely instrumentally and reinvent their songs by removing the vocal sections.
Returning to the Chameleon Club in August 2007, Tractorbeam unleashed yet another fierce onslaught of trance-fusion. Right out of the gates, the band launched into an instrumental cover of Muse's "Take a Bow." The first set also contains a standout version of "Lunar Pursuit" as well as the band's second time playing "Papercut," which had recently debuted at Camp Bisco 6. The second set starts off with a great version of "Glastonbury" which smoothly segues into the end of "Save The Robots." "Spaga," preceded by a short version of Guns N Roses' "November Rain" cap off a fantastic set.
We are very pleased to share this live experience with you and hope you enjoy it! Don't forget to vote for the 2008 Jammys at http://www.jammys.com
