This was the 16th time that Metallica performed in East Rutherford.  They first played here on April 21, 1986 while opening for Ozzy Osbourne.

Metallica last performed in East Rutherford on October 22, 2004 but did play two shows in Newark in 2009.

This was the first time that “Hardwired,” “Atlas, Rise!,” “Now That We’re Dead,” “Moth Into Flame” and “Halo On Fire” were performed in East Rutherford.

This was the first time in 17 years that “Whiplash” was played in New Jersey.  It was last played here on July 20, 2000 at Giants Stadium.
