Metallica broke through another barrier by becoming the first and only band in history to perform concerts on all seven continents in the same year!
The show was performed for contest winners from Latin America, research scientists from around the world and the crew of the ship who brought everyone to the cold continent. To protect the environment from noise pollution, the music was transmitted to headphones that each audience member was wearing.

This show was remixed for re-release January 2026.
