This was the first time The Unnamed Feeling has been played in the US, aside from the Fox TV New Years Eve Special 2003 in Las Vegas.

The first time Metallica performed at the Cow Palace was June 17, 1986, opening for Ozzy Osbourne. The last time they performed at the same venue was December 30, 1996.
